REVIEW ACTIVITIES
Reviewer for the following scientific refereed journals: • Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures (ISI) • Computational Materials Science (ISI) • Journal of Reinforced Plastics and Composites (ISI) • Applied Mathematical Modelling (ISI) • Polymers (ISI) • PLOS One (ISI)
• Mentoring and advising research assistants in the project “Optimisation of Multi-scale Structures with Applications to Morphing Aircraftâ€, under the supervision of Prof. Friswell at Swansea University. • Managing students groups in Chile: I have had the opportunity to work with undergraduate students, guiding them to carry out their final research project at the end of the engineering course. Additionally, I have taught in Chilean universities and education institutions. • Managing students groups in the U.K: I worked as a demonstrator in the Civil Engineering Department, in Swansea University, From September 2007 to July 2009. • Working with disabled people: During 2009 and 2010, I helped disabled students at Swansea University, taking notes for them and sometimes teaching them as a subject specific tutor. • Good working relationships: In all my previous jobs I have had an excellent relationship with my colleagues, enjoying always my time at work. • Team work: from sports teams to work teams, I have always been comfortable when working as a part of a group, getting involved with the team spirit and with the group’s achievements. • Versatility: In the UK, I was able to adapt myself successfully to a new language and to a multicultural country with diverse races and customs from different nationalities.
